Most of the time people on this forum are very helpful.
I personally will never, ever not tell someone that they are killing their pet if that is what they are doing.
Some people don't get it, but unfortunately many don't want to get it.
There is a fine line here....there are people on this forum who call people "good mommy" when the person is clearly neglecting their pet....and there are people who say it as it is. Then, the eruption inevitably happens. Personally, I would rather someone tell me the truth than to sugar coat.
It isn't about a person not being able to afford....it is the unwillingness to do that bothers me. |
I wasn't saying don't say what needs to be said. I'm just saying that a message is received better when it is spoken with kindness. Most of the time I do see this. And kindness is not the same as sugar coating.
