We've had Toby since the end of February this year (2016). He was born and raised in NYC and spent time with our daughter in NJ and had no problems when he came to us. Our daughter moved into a not pet friendly condo. Toby took right to me and Adele and we love him dearly.

A few weeks ago we noticed Toby was chewing on his feet often and there were a couple of bare skin patches on his hips and back. I have since seen him pulling at his hair and chewing at his back.

His vet diagnosed allergies and gave him an injection at the end of July. This has not seemed to help. His scratching and biting is not a constant thing and just a few times a day.

Is anyone here familiar with something like this and should I take him to a dermatologist vet? We live in Southwest Indiana so Toby made the trip from the East Coast.
