 Mast Cell Tumor
My 5 year old yorkie Penelope, had a lump appear on her back side near her tail 2 weeks ago. Vet tested the fluid, detected small amount of mast cell, sent us home with Benadryl 1/2 a 25 mg pill twice a day. Took her in yesterday for check up because it did get bigger after testing and now has gone down. Vet is referring us to Oncologist at UC Davis, CA. I am told this is uncommon for yorkies especially so young, anyone else dealt with this? |
