 Question about afterbirth
We had 2 litters born yesterday. 1 in the morning and 1 last night. Well my quesion is, our girl last night had 3 puppies. On her last one she chewed her cord off of the placenta before it came out. I watched her for another hour and never saw the placenta come out. No more contractions either.
Should I just keep a close eye on her or take her to vet and let them give a oxitotin shot to induce contractions. Thanks for your replys in advance. Scott |
