Welcome to YT!! I fly often with Toto and she is trained to the wee wee pad. Although I always choose flights for minimum hours, there are usually delays .... once she went about 18 hrs. without peeing & I was mortified!! Even though I take her to the bathroom, there are so many distractions, it's hard to get her to go. My greatest success was ... while waiting in Denver, one of the ladies at the desk was an animal lover and she told me to take her to a door that was right next to our boarding gate. Went in there and it was a "private" bathroom with a changing table, etc.! It was heaven! No distractions, plenty of room and clean ... practically as soon as I took Toto out of her carrier & got a pad down on the floor ... she lept onto it and peed AND pooped!! I have found, at least for us, the more private an area you can find works best.

I always travel with plenty of pads, wipes, Special K [stored in a plastic container so it doesn't get smashed], bottled water, etc. Also, when we fly on the 16th, I am going to try the new diapers for her to wear while in the carrier, "just in case"! I found them at PetSmart and they are made by Simple Solutions .... they have the velcro type tabs so you can take them off and refasten them! Good luck!!
