Until they do accept the pup, they are actually teaching the pup some addtional and very helpful doggie manners through their gentle nipping. They are teaching pup what is acceptable, when it is acceptable, how it is acceptable, and the general hiarchy of the household. They are teaching the pup in what ways it is acceptable to play and in what ways it is not.
Once the pup gets the boundries down, and the older dogs lighten up a bit, all will likely be great.
