Four hrs is doable for that age of pup. But I would have a plan b just in case. Meaning a place to stop and rest overnight. When I travel with my dogs I stop every two hours so they can stretch their legs and a little snack. Then we have a lunch n dinner break if I am on a very long trip say ten or. More hours .
