 Older dogs just not getting along with new puppy!
My older dogs are still nippy with the new puppy. Max should have been named taz for Tasmanian devil. He just runs circles around the older dogs. Comes in to get a bite of a tail and they try to nip the puppy. We have a 4 level split house and they stay on the top floor...Max on the 3rd level. Both have hardwood floors so he can go up there and he bounces up the stairs now but they jump on the couches when he goes upstairs. If they are on the floor Max just won't settle down. When he goes to everyone else's house and runs like a crazy puppy all the other dogs in the house play with him. I feel bad he doesn't have anyone to play with here. He does love to play! Any suggestions or is it a lost cause with all his energy! He's been here almost 3 weeks. |
