Four hours travel time isn't too long...Make sure he is comfortable and maybe stop every hour for his relief, water, etc. Keep him close to you--do not let other dogs near him and keep people at a distance as well; you don't want to overwhelm him. I think the trip will actually be a wonderful bonding experience for the two of you. Piper was a couple of years old when I got her, we had about an hour drive home and she stayed tight up next to me the whole time--I think that drive actually helped 'seal the deal' for Pipe! Enjoy your little Henry!
