Max and Sasha will both run up and down the stairs to the 2nd floor but neither one will go down the stairs into the basement. The stairs are the same height and angle. When I go into the basement they will both stand at the top and look down until I come back up but will not come down. Never understood why but I am not complaining because the basement is not dog proofed.
