 11 yr old yorkie not eating
Hi Everyone.. question/advise..
My 11 year old (almost 11).. 2.5lb yorkie suddenly stopped eating on Friday .. after she threw up her breakfast.. I can usually get her to react by just asking her.. "are you hungry" and she runs to her plate.. but nothing. Out of desperation sunday I fed her some bread with some chicken broth... and I thought yay.. she's eating and then she threw it all up.. and I haven't been able to get anything into her again for the last 24 hours.. so we are going on 4 days of no eating..
her balance also seems way off.. and her cataracts seem to be releasing some green puce (can't spell lol).. We are going to the vet tonight but was wondering if any of you have ever had this situation happen with your pups...
I'm afraid she is suffering and I'm selfishly keeping her because I she is simply myheart, my kid.. any advice would be appreciated.. TIA .. <3 |
