I had this problem before with a stud I had used that was older like yours. What it was he would get tired before he'd get finished and it took him awhile to get exited. What we did was left them alone (well they thought they were alone we were peeking through a window) anyway he did the job...in my experience it seems first timers are way too exited and old timers not excited enough lol..
