I think the fighting would be more geared toward 2 unspayed females if they were together, or 2 unfixed males. Most likely, her situation won't cause fighting. It's tough to say where she is in her "cycle" so therefore it'd be tough to say as to whether she'd provoke any scent-related behavior. Can you do a couple hour play date or something before their trip so you can do a trial run...?
