And he hasn't lifted his leg yet, he's eight months old, and I haven't noticed him mark. He does tinkle when he gets excited but hasn't marked.
Well here's my question....
Do you think he's going to begin marking in our new house and if so, what step can I take to help prevent this? we're looking into getting an exercise pen, but any help would be appreciated. Has anyone tried any repellants and do they work? |
Krystal!! Got so excited when I saw your thread .... was thinking Colorado, Colorado, oh please let them move to Colorado!!!

Moving to a house is even better!! We have found with Toto that she doesn't adapt very quickly to change. We have learned to watch her like a hawk until she becomes accustomed to her new surroundings! The first thing we do is set up her new area with her X-pen, wee wee pad, etc. and decide where her "stuff" will be located and then we spend all our time with her! We take her when we leave the house for errands, etc. so she doesn't feel abandoned and we don't give her "free run" of a new place until we know we can trust her!

Congratulations and good luck! Tell the Tigg-Man that Toto sends him sweet puppy smoochies and she is wearing her "Wild Thing" shirt right now .... it's her fave!!
