Mark i remember F W Woolworth's five & dime very well, in later years we had a Ben Franklin five and dime.
As a child i grew up in the country and can remember riding the Greyhound bus with my mom to go and shop in these stores we sometimes had lunch at the Woolworth lunch counter. precious memories
