My 8 year old yorkie has been diagnosed with heart disease. After an episode of respiratory distress with congestive heart failure he has been stabilized. We are now maintaining him on medications and he is doing great. My question is about food. I am looking for something low in sodium and good for heart...also he is overweight. Any advice from other parents with dogs and heart disease?
