 New to site
Just want to say hi to everyone, and maybe get some help, my pipsqueak has been itching like crazy, been to vet. Started with giant gives, they gave him steroids and Benadryl. Hives went away. Took skin scraping said high bacteria, gave him antibiotics for three weeks. Stopped all that never really stopped itching by the way put him on allergy food from vet !, now they are trying Zyrtec stated with 1 5mg a day, did nothing now on 2 5mg a day, this is crazy have had dogs my whole life never anything like this. He has special shampoo from vet. They are talking about either putting him on some meds that will guarantee to stop itching but he needs blood to be monitored in a little worried about that, or c allergist which will be mucho bucks. Any suggestions would be appreciated
