Just got to where I could read the replies & first of all thanks!!! I've worked so hard at that cotton coated baby with the red demon eyes lol on a daily basis and seems sooo much time! But I learned fast that a cotton coat means LOTS of hair which I wanted so bad, but tangles and mats if I miss even 1 day, so I don't! As long as I keep up with it she's fine with it and luvs being brushed, and the feeling she brings when I look at her, love her, the pride I take in her, and others making a fuss over her are so worth it.

I was afraid someone would tell me how selfish my question was because I somewhat feel that, but I really am concerned about it and only want the best. I still have my Tia from my aviator photo, she's I think like 11 or 12 yrs. old now. She always had allergy and skin problems, so the long hair has never happened for her. I got another puppy, and she died and broke my heart. She was silky, green eyed, and beautiful, but never made it to a year old... I didn't think I could ever get another, but my hubby insisted thru my grieving, and I got miss Molly.

Rambling, sorry... Anyway, I went thru 2 litters of puppies with Tia, 1 was accidental. She had always weighed around 5 lbs. I learned a lot and had the best helper by my groomer/best friend/and who had went to vet school too. I think I can handle it and there is a super vet 45 min. away. Molly weighs just a bit over 5 lbs. I'd like to find a smaller male, and I so very much want to let her have pups. Thanks so much everyone, and yet too, if anyone ever tried it with the long hair, I'd still like to hear how it turned out.
