Mine was also terrified of the vacuum and our crazy loud blender. The blender was so bad, he'd start crying if he even saw me start putting fruit in it cause he knew the noise was coming. So, whenever I used either appliance, I had my hubby hold Max the whole time. He was still scared, but not as freaked out as he would have been on his own.Now, he is used to the noise of both and really doesn't care.
