If you really want a Parti Yorkie, there are plenty out there on the internet. I would probably look for one in your city and drive to see both parents and do a good inspection on how they are treated. Make sure they are house pet instead of backyard! Most important is to do a lot of the RED FLAG inspection yourself before putting a deposit down. |
Some Parti breeders are perfectly reputable. The "standard" was written decades ago by a small group of rigid old biddies who wanted the carriers eliminated from the breed. Part of their strategy was to discredit all breeders with an interest in this variation. They're the same group of people who have fits when a breeder doesn't dock tails.
