Yea my dads laughed at me asking and was like they're just best buddies that's all that was meant by it...yea I sure hope they are! They're certainly cute together and teddy seemed confused that boss was gone when we got up but as soon as he came back he charged downstairs to inspect him and pick on him some more lol!
