My other dog was getting...ooops....I mean was already seriously overweight. I read somewhere to substitute green beans for some of their food (he was already eating Nutro Lite). I began replacing 1/3 of his food with green beans, he still got full, and it's taking some time but the weight is coming off. A bonus - he LOVES the green beans.
