I know all about the motion-sick dog. I always try not to feed Casie before any trips, short or long. And really limit her water intake (rather give her small licks of water to stay hydrated).
I've also learned to ask before bringing my dogs. Guess we can't assume everyone loves and welcome dogs/Yorkies as part of their family  |
Yes it was very stressful for everyone. I had permission to bring my babies but I think just having so many people, kids, and animals in a cabin had the host more nervous and anxious. She has only ever big dogs.
