Max needed pain meds his first night, so make sure the vet sends you home with meds.
He didn't bother his incision, but you might want to have a cone collar on hand if you cannot supervise closely.
No jumping or running ideally for a few days. Most boys recover quickly and think they are ready to resume normal activities, but Max caused some bruising at his incision by trying to jump.
No bathing for 2 weeks.
