Sometimes you have to protect these babies from themselves especially when they are young. I had to move furniture and keep a very close eye on Gracie when she was a puppy. When they are playing they don't always think about the results of their activities.

I would get him to the vet if he is acting abnormally. Taking him for walks (or runs) will help him to run off some of that excess energy so he will be calmer in the house. A tired puppy does not get into trouble (quite so much).
