Yes, any one who has ever had a yorkie puppy has had a hyper puppy, that's a normal healthy yorkie puppy. As for hitting his head, he NEEDS to see a vet ASAP. Any time a dog or any other living thing hits their head it is considered an Emergency & you should NEVER wait & see if they will be ok. A hit on the head can & often does cause a concussion & they can lead to life long seizures from scarring on the brain from the brain bleeding , AND a concussion can cause death. This is nothing to mess around with ever. As far as his chewing, he is a baby & he is teething & will be for quite awhile longer, you need to correct him when he's chewing on things he shouldn't be chewing on & if you can't keep a constant eye on him then those times he needs to be in a pen or a crate. Puppies are just like toddlers & they should not ever be left unattended in an area that's not 100% safe for them to be alone in, just like a human baby/toddler as he's too young to know rite from wrong. IF he's chewed pieces on those shoes or any other object & there is ANY possibility that he's swallowed it then he needs to see the vet to confirm there is no intestinal blockage. It is not uncommon for yorkie puppies or ALL puppies for that matter to become blocked from something they ate that they should not have eaten and require surgery to remove it or they will die. I hope this information helps & congratulations on your new family member & WELCOME to YT ! We look forward to hearing about your your new babies antics.
