Hello needing some insight or advice,
I currently have a Male Yorkie named Monty is will be 2yrs in September. He is an amazing little guy 3lb 8oz. Very smart and trained very well. We are not home as much as we would like so we wanted to find him a companion. We recently brought home a female yorkie puppy 6 weeks ago. Stella she is currently 15 weeks and 2lbs 2oz. We had read that male/female relations tend to do best. Stella loves to play and is constantly attacking Monty. He is a very relaxed dog and likes to play but has never been too hyper. He has not warmed up to Stella yet, he still refuses to look at her. doesn't ever want to lay with her. Runs away from her. He will occasionally engage in playing with her, but then it seems to get more aggressive than normal play. I'm really worried I have made a bad decision and have made Monty more Miserable then ever. Appreciate any feedback and maybe i just need to give it a bit more time she is still a pup.
