There is no size class for a Yorkshire Terrier. They do have a preferred standard which anyone can look up. Terms such as "teacup" come from breeders trying to sell non standard pups. Usually many times they end up being bigger or sicker than advertised.

Your dog is within the official standard weight range for Yorkies. You can either try to educate people who ask or just tell them that your dog is a standard Yorkie size. The slang terms for the different sizes of Yorkies have become so prevalent that it is hard to convince some people of the truth.
