He hasn't lifted his leg on my furniture "yet", but he does do it in the most random places, like the corner of my kitchen counter, or the trash can or a leg of a chair; like I said very random places. He poops on the puppy pad like a champ. He is only in his crate at night beside our bed, I let him out in the mornings to potty while I am getting ready for work. When we go for walks he does lift his leg to pee and he wants to mark EVERYTHING. I have to pull him away from spots that he is smelling too long to keep our walks going so he gets his exercise. I am knew with a Yorkie, this is my first one. So here are my questions.
***Is it okay for him to mark outside, but discipline him for doing it inside? ***Does that confuse them?
***How do I stop him from lifting his leg inside? I have heard of the belly bands, are these okay to leave on him while we are work? *8 hours +)
***What is the best urine product to use or something to use to prevent him from peeing in the same spot?

We are just really frustrated, he did so good and was so easy, and now we are constantly cleaning up after him. We live in a large 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment and he goes to the doggy park every day. Hope you all can help us out!
I'd get him neutered. As yorkiemom1 suggested, 8 months is the perfect time for neutering. It's also a good time to remove any baby teeth that hasn't fallen out yet so he won't have to go under more than once.

Marking outdoors is pretty normal. Some do it, some don't. It's going to be something you'll need to accept since he started. I would make sure he knows it's not okay to mark indoors.

When Scottie was a puppy around 8 months, I watched him like a hawk at home. Any time I saw his hind leg lift even a little, I would ask him "what do you think you're doing?!". Haha..he understands my tone. But, a couple times he actually peed. I didn't know until I heard the pee stream hit the floor and I told him in my firmest, lowest register voice, "NO!! Bad boy!". That's all the reprimanding I did. And you can only tell them NO if you catch them in the act. You cannot discipline him after the fact if you find pee puddles.

Most of us use Nature's Miracle. It's probably one of the best products out there to remove the pee/poo scents.

I haven't used belly bands for this purpose before, but I've read many others who have used it because the indoor marking became as issue.

So...separate to the indoor marking issue, 8hrs plus is a very long time to not have a potty break. That might be a reason why you are finding accidents.
