Those skin changes are not typical. Usually it is allergies or some kind of irritation. What color are the spots?
Max had a few light black spots on his undercarriage when he was younger. Antibiotics cleared them up and then they returned. I think he had 2 rounds of antibiotics that year. We later found that staying off Bermuda grass may have helped him. Could have been an allergy to that particular kind of grass because the spots never returned.
Since she is close to turning 1 year old, I'm guessing you will a trip to the vet soon for the 1 year vaccination boosters and an exam. Have the vet take a look at her chest.
