I've tried the plastic carrier with Gidget--no luck. She went ballistic even from the first day I had her. She was only 6 1/2 wks old. Put her in carrier the first night and she slept about 3 hrs.---then the crying started. She was in the bedroom with me, in the carrier, set on top of a TV tray so she could see me and easily tell where my voice was coming from. Next tried the wire cage since she didn't seem to mind being in one when I took her to the groomer. She peed and pooped when I tried putting her in the cage. (She's now 5 mos.) Tried throwing treats (she loves baby bell cheese) and she would go in as far as she could without getting her back paws inside. Leave the cage door open and throw pieces of hot dog, cheese, etc. inside. Same story. She'll leave the treats if it means she has to put her back paws in the cage. What to do, what to do.......
