For photo resizing, I tried the programs suggested by admin here at YT. One wouldn't download at all... the other was way less than ideal. I tried photoscape and even though it didn't have the option I really wanted to see, a file size selection, it did have thumbnail photos to be able to tell what photo file you were selecting while using batch editor, resizing a bunch of photos at the same time.... Who wants to do just one at a time? Not me! So, photoscape, a free download program, select batch editor tab, on the left select the file your photos are in, select all the photos and drop them in the editor to resize them all at once... don't worry, your originals are still safe... you have to select where these photos will go when resized, I just made a new file labeled 200kb to put them in and selected that as the destination for photscape. Here we go, just a few photos from one batch of photos from a camping/morel mushroom hunting trip.... oh,,, I selected the 800 physical size and had to drop the quality level all the way down to the bottom so that ALL of the photos in my batch would resize to below the 200kb limit. |
