1). He does have an eye infection in his left eye and has been given some cream. The vet thinks that it should be cleared up in 5 days.

I am still trying to find a great groomer and have reached out to several ones in the area and none of them are comfortable with such a small puppy. He is now 2.6 lbs and the vet is struggling to see how he will reach 5 lbs.
He is so sensitive and cries or whimpers about everything that I am having a hard time trying to cut or groom him myself. Ughhhh.....

I would just do the grooming yourself...that way, you know for sure she will be safe while getting groomed. It's a learning process for you both...so just be patient and know that you'll learn along the way.
Do you have a 'mustache comb'...? That's what I use all over their body, esp for matts.
