Kidney disease is not known to be especially prevalent among yorkies. Are your 2 yorkies related at all...? If not, I'd say it's just a really unfortunate coincidence and I'm so sorry. Many, many pets, though, do wonderfully for years to come, even after a kidney failure diagnosis. What is the current prognosis?
