Lol farley is actually just scared to death of all of it. I have had him since he was 7 weeks old. And old man bought him at 6 wks and brought him into the vet clinic i worked at when he had him for a week and didnt want him anymore cause he couldnt potty train him. So i know he wasnt abused . But you would think he was as scared as he is of grooming. Im the only person who has ever groomed him. He doesnt try to bite or anything he is just in pure panic as soon as the clippers and blow dryer turn on.
So i shave him every 8 wks or so in the summer. And keep him long in the winter and just do clean up sanitary trims every couple weeks.
I used to think oh he will get used to it eventually but he just turned 9 years old and still hates it just as much as the day i got him!
I always say it shouldnt be this stressful grooming my own dog!! Haha |
