how old is your yorkie? There is a wonderful fun time when they 'break gold' and their beautiful colors begin to really shine. I think for Lilah it was around six months? Yorkies are typically blue and tan with the tan/gold looking markings on their head, chest and legs and a beautiful 'steel blue' coat on their body that can even look kind of silver or grey. I know also that hormonal changes and old age can influence the coat color.
