This happened to my Mia. I used medicaded shampoo and condition from tropiclean and used hydrocortisone. I used a hydrocortisone dog spray and also purchase the cream at a local drug store. She had a scab after about a week of use and when it fell off her hair started growing again. Thankfully it never returned. You need to treat it for some time as soon as they get it, because it can return.
