I have been using nexgaurd on my 3 since last year. I noticed this month that my dogs are constantly scratching, even with nexgard. And....this is a big one....my husband now has rocky mountain spotted fever. We live next to a field and my crew bring ticks in with them after playing in the yard. Nexgaurd won't kill the ticks until they bite. So, live ticks are brought in.

I'm thinking about moving to something that I apply rather than the pills.

What do are some effective treatments that you guys use. I live down south so flea and tick season is from March to November.
