I did the same as Jkpal. I used a human baby brush for the longest time at first. I also keep my girl's hair pretty short so a brush like that was actually useful. I now switched to a soft bristled pet brush that's slightly more firmer. Martha stewart sells a plush bristle brush with soft wide bristles and top paw by conair has a soft bristled brush with a gel handle (which is what I got). But yea she loves her belly brushed with the soft bristles.
