I'm so sorry...this is a really tough situation. Did he have the pre anesthesia blood work done? Kidney functions etc... Such a horrible situation...I was so fearful of putting my 13 year old under for his teeth cleaning 2 years ago, but his was urgent as he had developed an abscess in his gums. Thankfully he made it through. But I'm so sorry your boy didn't. Truly so sad.
