She had used the wee wee pads until her shots were complete. Vet told me not to get her outside until then. She did really well on the pads so I continued until 2 weeks ago. At the point, she began peeing on the pads, then peeing on the floor and then she decided carpets were even better. So, last week I started on the outside training. She's doing really well because I take her out on schedule but if she needs to go before the schedule says to take her out, she lets me know that she needs to go outside. Before I left Sunday morning, I took her outside and she did her pee pee. I put the pads out because I knew I would be gone 4 hours. She peed 3 times during the time I was gone. I didn't put the pad out when I was gone from 4:30 - 6:30 (took her out at 4:15) and when I got back at 6:30 she had peed on the floor. I'm going to be doing the outside training but leave pads out when I know I'm going to be gone for a while until she has more control of her little bladder. She didn't have any trouble getting back into the routine Sunday evening or yesterday.
