Hi I just wanted to chime in my dog had a litter of Chinese Crested puppies and the runt was so small at 12wks he was not able to get his shots he was as tall as a cigarette pack his soft spot did not close till he was about a year old . He is normal size now but I would be very careful with him around kids . If the soft spot is small in size (about pea size or smaller) I wouldn't worry too much about it closing. Your vet should be able to give you a better idea on what he thinks about it also. Wishing you and your baby the best.. |
