Are you sure it is Pro Plan? You know, there is nothing wrong with prescription foods. Don't believe all the rankings on the web about food!!! I have pups on RX foods for various conditions and they are doing well. I encourage you to stick with RX foods for now if your vet is recommending it...it is not nasty food at all. Hill's ID and Royal Canin GI foods are both low fat. My pup who had pancreatitis is on Purina EN and he loves it.

As for the grass eating, I find that they tend to do it more when they have tummy upsets. He may still be feeling a bit out of sorts.
