I agree homecook is the best IF you get the recipes from a good source and add the vitamins and all. I think a lot of vet don't want homecook because they are afraid the owner will not give the dog a balance diet or they are not knowable in cooking for dogs... just my opinion
When sammy had kidney disease my vet did not want me to homecook at all... He told me NOT to give Sammy the calcium supplement I researched and started using and then sold me a supplement that he recomended that the first ingredient was the same calcium carbonation I was giving.


I really don't think he know much about dog nutrition at all.
