I agree, your baby must be immune to the noise of the spray. Silly boy trying to bite the can.
Have you tried shaking pennies in a can to control the barking?
I read your other thread and I agree with the suggestion to increase his exercise as much as possible. Also, have a daily routine, a sort of schedule, as much as possible. The routine will have a calming affect as he matures, since he will know when to expect outings and playtime.
Work on basic obedience training. Whenever my boys get out of hand wrestling, I distract them with a couple minutes of performing tricks for treats (single kibble for each trick). Then they settle down.
When your pup goes off on a barking jag, give the "quiet" or "settle down" command or whatever you use. If he continues, say, "Okay, I'm leaving." Walk out of the room to a place he cannot follow. My boys can't follow me out of the "great room" living area, and they hate when I leave, so this is very effective with them.
