There's room for some toys and a blanket, so I know he is comfortable if I have to leave for a few hours.
Took Gidget to the groomer today (for just the 2nd time). Groomer immediately put her into an open wire cage, Gidget laid down and watched me talking to groomer for a few minutes. When I turned to leave, she just looked at me. Went to PetSmart and got an XXSmall open wire cage (against the PetSmart trainer's advice). Have it at home, set up with toys inside and she's gone in a couple of times to retrieve a treat a put in at the back of the cage. Think she'll be just fine with the open concept. Going to let her explore the idea for a day or 2. Also found an amazing yorkie website "yorkieinfocenter.com". Lots of good stuff.
