I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. It will be a week tomorrow that I lost my Holly. She was only 5 years old, so losing her didn't even seem to be a possibility to me.

I can only say be gentle with yourself. Grieving takes time, and it doesn't matter if it is a person or a beloved pet.

I will say that last night was the first night I slept, and it was because I changed my position in the bed. Sounds silly but it worked.

What you do now is grieve the loss of your sweet boy. I haven't moved her toys yet, but it was suggested to me to maybe put them out of sight until I feel strong enough to give them away.

Hugs to you. Just know you gave him a wonderful 13 year life.
