 Anemic and enlarged spleen
Hey guys,
My little 10 yr old Chloe has not been eating much the past few days. I took her to the vet yesterday and they did an xray and said that her spleen was enlarged. She was also running a low grade fever. Her blood work revealed that she is anemic. They have scheduled her to have a ultrasound on Friday to look more at her spleen. Has anyone encountered this with their dog?? I am so worried. I don't know if I can wait til Friday to find out whats wrong. she refuses to eat her dog food, so I have been feeding her eggs, cheese and chicken. I know she shouldn't eat cheese but I am desperately trying to get some food in her. He gave me something to stimulate her appetite but its not working very good.
