I agree w/ Kristin in that first and foremost you'd want to be sure bloodwork is okay and that he isn't in pain.

There could also be a bit of dementia as a component. For that, many dog owners find Anipryl tremendously helpful.

It's so tough watching these sweet wee ones age...only you can know in your heart when the time is right to let them go. I think you'll know when that time comes. So sorry your kiddo is going through some tough aging issues.
