I'm not as worried because I know its because he is just being stubborn because he if I make him some boiled chicken , he gobbles it up.

Also, if i give him the food while another dog is around he begins to guard and eats it if he thinks another dog is trying to eat. I'm not sure why he does that but he does that only at my boyfriends house, when his dog is around. I would put the food in a plate and he walks away but if he sees his dog Bentley approaching his food , he would jump from wherever he is and go straight to his food and begins to eat. Sometimes I would have to hold Bentley close to me to get him to eat.

I recently had his shots done and went through a dilemma with him. When he received his rabies, AFTER like 7 hours his eyelid were swollen for like an hour, then his penis was swollen for an hour and then he was fine. When I went in for the remaining of his shots they gave him benedryl. He was poorly eating then but I knew it was due to his shots. He did get a dewormer as well and I had to wait a day or two until his stool was thick again in order to send the fecal test, I'm waiting on the results.

Max eats alot if the food is catches his attention lol
